Rory, Me, and The D (Mess - 1/17/08)

It has been very hard for me to write this entry, but now that I have I do feel better.  When I was leaving the Christmas Party, Brain returned to me my copy of this CD.  Rory happened to be standing in the entry way during the exchange.  Rory was very excited to see the disk, and we began to talk about it.  While we were talking about the CD I had mentioned how much I like this song, Rory got a huge smile on his face, and agreed how "fucking awesome" it was.  This literally was the final memory Rory left me with.  When I listen to this song I now laugh and cry, and then laugh again.  It truly is amazing to me how Rory could take a chance moment in time and turn it into his legacy for me.  Rory, thank you for this memory.
